The benefits of therapy don’t end when our sessions do. The insight, tools, and self-awareness you gain can stay with you for a lifetime: helping you navigate challenges, deepen your relationships, and move closer to the life you want.

Choosing therapy is a meaningful step toward change. It’s a commitment to your growth, healing, and well-being; an investment in yourself that may be one of the most valuable decisions you make.

If you’re feeling unsure, that’s completely okay. Let’s talk. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can ask questions, share your hopes for therapy, and see if we feel like a good fit.

Insurance

I am considered an Out of Network provider at this time and can provide you with Superbills upon request. Most insurance plans do offer out of network benefits so make sure to check directly with your insurance carrier.

Some questions to ask your insurance for out of network benefits:

  • Do I have outpatient mental health coverage?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • What percentage of my bill will be covered for services with an out-of-network provider?

  • How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Most of my client chose not to involve their insurance for the following reasons:

  • You won't have a diagnosis label attached to your health records.

  • Your confidentiality will be to the highest degree since no one else can access your records.

  • Your care is not imposed by your insurance policy but by our collaborative efforts.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

●      You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

●      Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

●      If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

●      Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
